GREAT COMMISSION MINISTRY INTERNATIONAL
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
(Matthew 28:19-20)
The purpose of the Great Commission Ministry International is to fulfill the great commandment of our Lord Jesus Christ, bringing the Gospel to the nations, through the establishment of new churches.
Great Commission Ministry aims to spread the gospel, and help the poor and needy people around the world. The “Great Commission Ministry International” was formed in the year 2000, by the Slavic Missionary Church of Sacramento, California. At first, “Great Commission” held missionary work in the former Soviet Union. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, many people experienced a huge economic crisis, and they were eager to hear the Word of God. With the passing of time, the mission of the Great Commission grew and spread, reaching many other countries. In 2003, our ministers visited countries of Latin America; there they provided assistance to the children in different orphanages. Since 2005, the mission of the Great Commission began its ministry in Malawi, Africa, which is one of the poorest countries in the world.
Because of the numerous countries that are in a great need of help, and the need of hearing the Good News; the mission of the Great Commission plans to expand, and reach more and more countries for the glory of God.
